Entrepreneurship Session

Today, we had special guest speaker Shane Todd, a franchise owner of an Athens Chick-Fil-A, talk to the students about his journey as an entrepreneur. He discussed his successes, as well as his trials and tribulations, in his ventures. He gave the students insightful advice about persevering and working oneself up the ladder, harping on key values like responsibility and self-discipline. Additionally, he stressed the importance of finding knowledgeable and trustworthy mentors to propel oneself to achieve the unimaginable. Once the guest speaker concluded, we used the remaining time to cover a crucial topic: professional business attire. We encouraged engagement from the students during the presentation through fun and interactive games, stressing the vitalness of adhering to business etiquette and decorum. Overall, we hope this meeting equipped the students with the knowledge to succeed in the business world and inspired them to think about their career path.
