Service Fellows

UGA Mind Blowers is a service-based organization of the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. We emerged out of a desire to support the youth of Athens by educating outside of the traditional curriculum to enhance financial literacy, quantitative skills, and career aspirations. To do so, we proudly partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Athens, hosting instructional sessions or speaker events twice weekly.

 

Mind Blower's Service Fellows is a select cohort of volunteers who engages in Terry's philanthropic efforts firsthand, instructing and mentoring Athens Clarke County middle-schoolers. As a Service Fellow, you will join a tight-knit team of Terry students, sharpen your public speaking skills, and translate the knowledge you've gained as a business student to a classroom of energetic young learners. Mind Blowers hosts sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the 4th Street and HT Edwards Boys & Girls Club locations respectively. Service Fellows host one session a week at the location of their choosing.
